How to Connect to Amazon Alexa

Bind your app account to your Amazon account to control devices that work with Alexa through the Amazon Echo series, e.g.,

“Alexa, show the front door.”

1. Prerequisites

  • Make sure that some devices are paired with AJCloud. If you haven’t paired your device, please use AJCloud APP to pair it first (it is better to use a common English name for the device alias).
  • Make sure you have downloaded and installed Amazon Alexa APP. If not, please go to the App Store to download it.
  • Make sure your Amazon Echo series terminal is connected to the Internet and logged into your Amazon account. If you do not have an account, please follow the guide for each device to set up the network and log in.

2. Login to the Alexa APP

• Login tothe Alexa APP with your Amazon account and search “AJCloud” in the “Skills & Games” menu.

3. Activate Skill and bind AJCloud account

• After searching and finding “AJCloud”, click “ENABLE TO USE” to activate it.

• Then in the pop-up authorization box, enter your AJCloud account and password to log in, and you have successfully completed the authorization of AJCloud to Alexa.

4. Discovery of camera devices

• After successfully binding the AJCloud account, Alexa will automatically enter the devices discovery page, and wait for a certain time according to the prompts.

• Finally, you can control the discovered device by voice (the device must be online), or you can find your own devices in “Devides” in the navigation bar to make more settings for it.
